Description
With all the category leading features of the standard NVMT Spartan series, the NVMT Spartan WP models have the added benefit of being waterproof (rated at 1m for 10 minutes) and a distinctive blue and black body shell. To keep them watertight, the integrity of the housing has been enhanced and both the objective and ocular lenses are permanently fixed and sealed.
For this reason the NVMT Spartan WP models are not compatible with the optional lenses or eyepieces available for the standard models but will still accept tripods, additional illuminators, camera adaptors and the like.
The ergonomic body shell is comfortable in the hand and ideally suited to one handed operation with switches and controls all accessible. Power for the scope and accompanying infrared is provided by one 3v Lithium CR123A battery (not supplied) allowing extreme cold weather performance.
The Yukon NVMT Spartan 3×42 WP range feature a stylish and tactile soft touch blue/black sure-grip ABS plastic bodyshell with partial rubber armouring for extra hold and protection together with smooth and intuitive focusable objective and ocular lenses.
Each model has an IR illuminator built-in to enhance performance and allow use in very low light or total darkness and operational status LEDs that illuminate green for the image intensifier tube and red for the IR illuminator. This feature helps to preserve battery life and also alerts the user should the device accidently be switched or left on.
An integral slot built-in to the bodyshell is designed to retain the lens cap while the monocular is in use and twin ¼” Whitworth threads have been built-in for secure mounting to tripods and as attachment points for the numerous accessory options available to enhance performance and function.
Each unit is individually serial numbered to assist tracking in large inventories and is supplied with a secure detachable wrist strap and a soft carry case with convenient belt loop.
