Following on from the extremely successful K2 Long Surf rods, the Shakespeare Salt Long Surf 390/420 has now been added to the Salt range. Just about any beach angler will improve their distance casting using these rods coupled with a fixed spool beach reel – no more messy over-runs when pushing to obtain those few extra metres using a multiplier reel.
Another important feature of the new Salt surf rods is their three piece construction – much easier to store and transport than a conventional two piece model.
